HOW TIKTOK HAS INFLUENCED 2ND AND 3RD TIER YOUNGSTERS FOR ACTING, DANCING, SINGING, ETC

TikTok was established in China in the year 2016. A top-rated app amongst the youngsters, almost every individual had this app on their phone. In earlier years, there were many such apps named musically, dubsmash, etc., then TikTok came, and it took the place of every other app. India’s many other countries also got influenced by this app, and it is not about youngsters; adults and senior citizens also play a great role in it. When the world was going through the Covid pandemic, it became the most liked app that used to entertain millions of people in their hard times. When the app started, there was a lot of news regarding people dying due to shooting TikTok videos in dangerous places. But as the awareness started spreading, people started making videos with safety measures and precautions. The way we use social media is reshaped by a new app over the next few years.   The year in which TikTok got its popularity was 2020. Children enjoy it. Others suggest that this is pointless. But there’s no sense of debating regarding its success, though. See it or not, there is an excellent purge that occurs as media technologies catch the culture’s craze with social media. They deliver modern and more distinctive ways to connect. “Fear of missing out” is a simple way of explaining how social media can make us feel like somebody else is part of anything that they are not: a party, a private beach, a barbecue. In this definition, the new problem is that often that “something” is in itself a media site.

In China, TikTok is called Douyin and reportedly has a consumer base of more than 250 Million active subscribers. The program is called TikTok throughout the globe and is accessible in 154 nations around the world. Forty percent of TikTok users are found exclusively from outside China. India has a broad range of social user bases and, to date, accounts for around 25 percent of daily users. TikTok’s number of users in the US was roughly near 14 million as of March 2019. A tornado of video clips welcomes you when you open TikTok. Most of the video clips are lip-syncing to music by adolescents or sharing information about their day, their love relationship, or their teenage years. Many production houses are picking up new talents from these platforms where young talents begin their budding journey into this vast field. One of the major groups who are continuously looking for talents is JSR Production, due to the rawness and many times absolute ripeness these platforms act as a catapult for new artists.

This material has no validity for anyone above the age of 20. But for those in the millennial generation, millions of views and followers can be gathered. The shortness of the material is probably the most challenging way of managing TikTok. TikTok mostly shows video content that is 15 seconds long. However, there is an option to share videos for a maximum of one minute, and there are no more video formats and no choices for sharing images or text. Such limitations make it more difficult for the app to grasp the first few times when you use it. TikTok’s greatest attraction is the opportunity to express everything. Comedy, entertainment, health, work, fashion, dance, photography; every genre is available and attracts enormous attention. For those who can adapt their content to the brief video prototype, each genre offers publicity. Although entertainment is the main attraction, both informative, talented, and marketing content are growing.

As mentioned above, people are showing their talents on this free app, which in short is a great thing. The young generation looks at something to get entertained, so if they look at TikTok videos, it is a good thing to explore their thinking capability. As they are young and have limited knowledge, their range of thinking will increase after watching such informative videos or entertaining videos, and their interest will be created automatically. It is a famous saying that children see and learn things. Similarly, if a kid is watching a dance video, he/ she will think of copying those steps and creating a similar video because they learn new things. If we talk about acting, people make a story of 15 seconds or one minute and successfully convey the message to the audience. So, when a youngster watches such videos, they start thinking about the content, a content of 15 secs, which is very hard. They will think about the content and then will act accordingly. To make it perfect, they will learn acting skills. And not only acting skills, while making 15 secs or one minute videos they will imagine and think about the video, that is how it should look. And due to this, they will also gather information about the camera angles and movements and improve their camera skills. Not only entertainment, but there are so many other categories as well. There are informative videos that teach you new words, facts, or any language. So, eventually, we can say that TikTok influences youngsters to a great extent.
